Who Inspires My Style ?

Hey Babes!

As someone who majored in fashion merchandising in college, I have been asked on more than one occasion to not only “describe my style” but to also explain what brands and celebrities influence my style. My answer never feels satisfactory enough for other people. The truth is that while I may have a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, I don’t look at high end, designer couture brands for inspiration. I’ve worked New York Fashion Week and honestly, it did very little for my serotonin levels. That may not be lovely or strategic to say, if I wish to someday work in a corporate office for a clothing brand, but oh well, it’s the truth.

I am a mall rat. An e-commerce shopper. I frequent Old Navy for basic pieces like jeans and t-shirts. I am a basic bitch who uses Pinterest as a style search engine to get inspired. With that being said, here is a list of influencers, brands, fictional characters and social media personalities that I look to when I am stuck in rut.
