My Desk Tour
Hey Babes!
Today, I'm sharing a tour of my desk! I actually didn't have a desk in my bedroom, until I was a Freshman in college, and truthfully I didn't use it much throughout college. I always did my work either at the kitchen table or while sitting on a couch with the TV playing in the background. Last Christmas, I decided it was time to join the rest of the adult world and get a desk for my itty bitty teeny weeny bedroom.
All of the furniture in my bedroom is either white or used to be white before years of wear and tear, so I wanted to make sure my desk matched the aesthetic. This desk is from Target and fits in my room perfectly. My desk chair is from Home Goods and when I saw it, my cheap ass skipped over to the chair and carried it all the way to my car. The desk, like my room is small, so I have a pretty limited surface area to work with, so I wanted to keep my desk clean and free from a lot of clutter.
On the left side of my desk, I keep educational books that will help me sound or seem smarter than I really am. On top of the books, I have some of my colored pens that I use in my planner or in my journal. I also have a small clear crystal on this side of my desk that my cousin gave to me.
In the middle of my desk, I have my nicer colored pencils, my astrology books, a desk plaque and a pair of my Elton John inspired sunglasses that I am obsessed with. On either side of my books, I have some polaroid photos of my parents and I, my dog Bailey and my cousin Taylor and I.
On the right side of my desk, I keep my pens and my less expensive colored pencils. These are the writing utensils that I reach for more often when I am journaling or writing in my planner. I also have an ancient Juicy Couture box filled with polaroid photos, play dough and the books I’m currently reading. On this side, I also keep my journal and my planner.
The drawers of my desk are very shallow, and they are crammed with stickers, bills and accessories for my electronics, so I won’t be showing those drawers!
That, my friends concludes my desk tour! I hope you babes enjoyed this post.
xoxo,
Kelly
