Hey Babes!

Happy October and Happy Spooky Season! October is one of my favorite months of the year and it’s not because of Halloween or horror movies, but because the weather becomes crisp and I can finally dig out my big cozy sweaters. Ugh, LOVE! Can you feel the serotonin?

The best way to kick off October is to recap the things I loved during the month of September!

Do Revenge on Netflix

Oh my God, this movie is so fucking good! It’s funny, it’s smart and it kept me on my toes. The writing is *chef’s kiss*, I mean when Eleanor, played by Maya Hawke, said, “I wanna eat my lunch on her shattered ego” I DIED! It gave me Scream Queens meets late 90’s teenage rom com vibes. You have to watch it!

Door Dash

Listen, sometimes I cook myself dinner and sometimes I Door Dash myself HoneyGrow stir fry or a Dairy Queen Pumpkin Pie Blizzard. It’s expensive, but it makes me feel a little less sad. So, here we are.

The Bachelorettes

Even though I didn’t watch Clayton’s season, I watched all of Gabby and Rachel’s season. Most of the season was pretty good, but honestly I wasn’t sucked in until the three hour finale. Going in, I thought, there is no way in hell this finale could possibly need a three hour segment. There is just no way! I am so glad I was wrong. They had me hooked! I would like to start out by saying, FUCK YOU TINO! And then I would like to follow it up with, RACHEL THE UNIVERSE DID YOU A FAVOR BECAUSE HE IS THE WORST! I laughed, I had major cringe sweats and then my heart just exploded for Gabby and Erich.

Now, I really liked Zach during Rachel's season, so I am going to give him a chance and pray that he is not boring AF! AMEN.

King Clarence on TikTok

King Clarence appeared on my For You Page on TikTok during September and my mom and I are obsessed with him. His videos are about how his fluffin hoomans aka "Vladimir Jimmy" and "King Jong Mom" are ruining his life. The videos are from Clarence's perspective and they are so hysterical. Everyday, my mom and I check his page for new content.

Trader Joe's Petite Pumpkin Spice Cookies

These shortbread cookies are covered in a delicious pumpkin spice yogurt coating and then topped with tiny sprinkles and they are to die for. They're also shaped like little pumpkins, which makes my basic bitch heart happy. They remind me of Mother's Circus Animal Cookies, which are an all time favorite snack of mine.

That pretty much sums it all up, my loves! What are you looking forward to in October?

xoxo,

Kelly
