My March 2024 Favorites
Hey Babes!
Happy April! If I’m being honest, March was kind of a wash for me. From being a PMS Queen, to cramps, to RSV - your girl over here is TIRED! A bitch is wheezy and sneezy. But, I still wanted to share five things that helped me get through March.
Vicks VapoRub
Listen, when I’m sick I will literally do anything to feel better. I will dabble in both Eastern and Western medicine. Hell, I will even do a little black magic if it means that I’ll be able to breathe normally. Vicks is such a Godsend. Thank you my little friend! If I’ve got my Vicks, my prescription inhaler and a hot decaf tea, I’m good to go!
Summer House
WHAT A SEASON! WHAT A SHOW! If I’m honest, it makes me a little sad to see the demise of Lindsay and Carl’s relationship, but with all of this evidence, there is no way she was blindsided! But, I will say that him emailing her to get the ring back post breakup is tacky and petty as hell. Who does that? Lindsay is a gaslighter and Angry Spice but that was a cruel thing to do.
I was also surprised by Craig’s admission to Kyle about his relationship with Paige. I genuinely believe that they are endgame, but someone is going to have to make the move. Ciara and West make my heart so happy and giddy. I’m obsessed with them.
I love Amanda, Paige is a confessional Queen, Danielle is meh, I need more from Gabby, Lindsay is the most annoying wench, and I’m loving Ciara this season.
Kyle is the most consistent “character” on the show, West was written by a woman, Jesse Solomon has some serious potential and I feel so fucking bad for Carl. But, I’m loving this season!
Trader Joe’s Chocolate Crepe Wafer Cookies
Biiitttcchh! These delicious mini chocolate crepe wafer cookies are to die for. Like, I think I need to stock up on them. The cookie itself is light and airy and the chocolate is so creamy and rich. These cookies are addictive! I need Trader Joe’s to make them a staple item.
Summer Friday’s Lip Butter Balm in Birthday Cake
I have a tiny obsession with lip balms, but there is something about the Summer Friday’s Lip Butter Balm that speaks to my soul. I love the packaging, the formula and it’s not messy to apply. The Birthday Cake lip balm is the most beautiful sheer pink shade that has a little hint of sparkle in every swipe! LOVE!
The Hunger Games
Look, I don’t make the rules but when you’re bedridden for days at a time, you have to watch something familiar. All four of the Hunger Games movies were available on Peacock during the month of March, so that’s what I watched. Question! Why are old men always beefing with children in dystopian or fantasy movies? Like, get a life loser. Also, Finnick’s death WRECKS me every time without fail.
