Blogmas Day 4 - Candy Cane Lane Cookies

Hey Babes! 

Today is the fourth day of blogmas and it is National Cookie Day! Today I will be sharing a white chocolate peppermint sugar cookie recipe with you babes. Peppermint is one of my favorite seasonal flavors and I look forward to peppermint bark cheesecake every single year and I am so excited for these cookies. 

First, you'll preheat the oven to 350°F and while the oven is warming up, you'll combine your cookie mix, softened butter and one egg in a mixing bowl until a dough forms. 

Then you'll drop rounded balls of dough on the cookie sheet and bake for about ten minutes. Let the cookies cool completely before decorating them. 

Once the cookies have cooled, you'll take melted white chocolate and coat half of the cookie with the chocolate and then immediately add your crushed candy cane pieces. It works best if you use a butter knife to apply the melted white chocolate similarly to how you would apply butter to a piece of toast.
