The Great Pumpkin - Pumpkin Spice Cookies

Hey Babes!

Happy September and Happy Pumpkin Spice Season. Today, we are going to make pumpkin spice cookies with cream cheese frosting!

You’ll Need…

One Package of Betty Crocker Pumpkin Spice Cookie Mix

One Egg

One Stick of Butter

1/4 Cup of water

Cream Cheese Frosting

Cinnamon

First, you’ll preheat the oven to 350°F. Then, you’ll add the pumpkin spice cookie mix, one egg, one stick of butter and one fourth cup of water to a large mix bowl and stir until the dough is combined.

Next, you’ll cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper and plop cookie dough onto the sheet. Not gonna lie, the cookie plops kind of look like turds, but it is what it is.

Depending on the size of your cookies they’ll bake anywhere from 12 to 19 minutes. I put mine in for about 17 minutes. Once they have finished baking, allow the treats to cool before generously spreading cream cheese frosting.

These cookies taste like fall, but they do not have a strong pumpkin forward flavor. You definitely can taste a hint of pumpkin and spice, but I just wish the flavor was a little stronger. With that said, the cookies are soft and the cream cheese icing adds the perfect amount of sweetness. I also added a little melted cookie butter to a small portion of the dough and those cookies were insanely delicious, like dangerously so. They’re also Mushu approved!

What fall treat is your favorite?
