How To Survive Quarantine

Hey Babes!

Today is Saint Patrick’s Day, the day my sorority was founded in 1917 and it is officially my fifth day of quarantine. While I do not have the Coronavirus, I am stuck in my house with the inability to work from home. While, I am a homebody and this shut down gives me plenty of time to sleep and binge watch movies, it also is quite a bit to digest, because I love to run errands and go shopping and now for my own safety and the safety of others, I can’t!

So, how am I staying somewhat sane? Today I am sharing a list of things you can do to pass the time!

Clean / Organize Your Space

This is the perfect time to clean and declutter your space! I'm not talking about picking your clothes up off of the floor and moving them into your dresser or closet. I mean pull out the dust rag, the windex and get to work Cinderella. Move out your winter wardrobe for your spring clothes, create a donation pile of items you no longer have use for, or rearrange your furniture to give your space a fresh feel. Honestly, having a clean organized space does wonders for my mental health.

Reading Is FUNdamental

I never need an excuse to pick up a new book, but I rarely have the time when society is functioning normally. Now that we are living in an alternate universe, it is the best time to start reading some new books! Plus, it is probably better for your mind than just mindlessly watching television and movies.

Exercise and Maybe Extra Fries

If you are bored out of your mind, go for a leisurely walk! Get some fresh air! If you have the luxury of having workout equipment at home like a treadmill or weights, put them to good work. Take your dog outside and play ball with them. Stretch out your muscles, since you may be sitting for prolonged periods of time. Find a workout routine online or on TV to follow and get your sweat on. Trust me, it'll make you feel so productive.

Glow Up Season

Since you're not going anywhere, it is the most opportune time to focus on skin care. Cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize my friends. Pull out a sheet mask, grab that jade roller, hop into a luxurious bath, and do a hair treatment. Ahh, pruney vibes.

Netflix and Chill?
