DIY Beaded Phone Charm

Hey Babes!

I am usually and almost always late to a trend, and that's just my cross to bear. By now you have all probably seen bitches sporting a beaded phone charm on TikTok or Instagram. They're usually super colorful and long enough that you can fit your wrist into it.

Now, that I think about it, I use to have a phone charm from Claire's in the early 2000's tied to my blue Motorola Krzr flip phone, so maybe I am a trendsetter. Okay?

Anyway, I purchased one from Little Words Project back in April, because they're cute and I am a sucker. It's very much so my vibe with a mix of pastel beads and pearls. This past weekend, when my cousin was over, she wanted her own phone charm, so we decided to make our own. Today, I'm sharing a little tutorial with you babes, on how to create your own phone charm for less.

First, you'll need to purchase the beads, charms and string that you want. I recommend buying a kit so you'll have a variety to work with. The raw materials cost us about the same as the phone charm and shipping cost me.

Once you have your beads and charms, I recommend knotting your string first and then creating your design.  You can literally do whatever you want, and the great thing about purchasing a kit is that you can make as many as you'd like in multiple different color ways!

To secure the charm to your phone, you'll put the string through a hole in your case on the top left corner and then you will pull the charm through the string. Ta da!

I hope you babes enjoyed this post and make some of your own.

xoxo,

Kelly
