Today is the fifteenth day of Blogmas and National Cupcake Day! I’m sharing a cupcake recipe that will transport you to a magical Christmas Tree Farm.

LET’S GET STARTED

First things first, you’ll preheat your oven to 350°F and combine your boxed cake mix, three large eggs, a half cup of oil and a cup of water. Mix until the batter is smooth!

Then you’ll spoon the mixture into your cupcake liners. I like to fill them about halfway, but honestly ugly or misshaped cupcakes have more character. Anyway, the cupcakes will take about 15 minutes to bake depending on size.

While your cupcakes cool, it is time to create your edible Christmas Tree toppers! First you’ll melt white chocolate in the microwave and once you’ve reached the desired consistency, pour the melted chocolate into a plastic baggie. Then, snip off the tip of the sandwich bag and pipe your tree.

Mine are obviously abstract, but to each their own! Then immediately add sprinkles and let cool. Now, ice those cupcakes and add on the trees.
