Blogmas Day 20 - Christmas Crack

Hey Babes!

Today is the twentieth day of Blogmas and we are cooking up some Christmas Crack. Obviously, I am not referring to the drug, but a delicious treat. When I was younger, my mom’s friend used to make this for our family, but I never tried to make it myself. So, today I am going to take a crack at it!

My version of this recipe was inspired by a TikTok I saw from @bakedbymelissa aka Melissa Ben-Ishay!

what you’ll need…

Pretzel Rods

One Stick Of Butter

One Cup Of Brown Sugar

Milk Chocolate

Sprinkles

First, you’ll line a baking sheet with parchment paper and then assemble your base. You could use saltines, but I decided to use pretzel rods!

Now, you’ll melt a stick of butter and a cup of brown sugar until it starts to bubble. When it bubbles, remove it from the heat and pour it over the pretzel sticks.

Then, add on your chocolate. After you add your chocolate pieces, you’ll pop the pan into the oven to allow everything to melt. Honestly, it doesn’t have to be in the oven for very long at all, maybe 3 to 5 minutes, if that!

Once you remove it from the oven, add on some holiday sprinkles and allow it to cool.

Once it cools, slice that bitch up and enjoy! If you babes try out this treat, let me know.

xoxo,

Kelly
