My Pre-work Beauty Routine

Hey Babes! 

I’m just gonna be really real with you, I don’t wear any face makeup to work because I spend hours in a mask, so what is the fucking point? Pre-Covid, I’d wear a full face of makeup to work and maybe a little lip plumper. Now, you’re lucky if I fill in my eyebrows! With that being said, I still have a pre-work beauty ritual. 

First, I wipe my face clean with an Equate makeup remover wipe even though I legit just got out of the shower with a fresh face. Then, I spritz a little rose water spray all over my face and neck. I only use Mario Badescu spray, by the way. Next, I lather my skin with some Clinique moisturizer! It’s cold out here and homegirl is DRY! 

After the moisturizer, I apply a little dab of The Ordinary Squalene oil onto my face and up my neck. Now, that I’m slippery and dewy, I apply my under eye cream from Origins. I’m getting old, so this shit is important. Okay? Then I apply a little green primer from Maybelline all over my face to keep any redness at bay. 

After that I brush out my eyebrows and then apply Boy Brow from Glossier, so my brows are thick and luscious.  Next, I apply the Glossier Zit Stick onto any blemishes I see! Hey, I might as well take care of my skin while I work! Finally, I curl my lashes, so I look bright eyed and bushy tailed!
