My September Favorites
Hey Babes!
Happy Friday and Happy October. Holy Shit, did September even happen? Like most of this year, September was a total blur for me. The only good thing about the year flying by, is that it’s almost fucking over.
Today, I’m going to share my five favorite things from September!
Oversized Scrunchies
As a constant proprietor of the messy bun, I am a slut for a good scrunchie. I love different prints and textures and lately I have been obsessed with extra large or oversized scrunchies! They also make my wrist look teeny tiny, which is a major win for me.
Pumpkin Iced Chai
Nothing says, I’m a basic bitch with no real personality quite like an obsession with pumpkin flavored things. But, there is a reason why people love pumpkin and that’s because it’s fucking delicious. Anyway, in September, I started ordering the occasional iced chai from Starbucks with pumpkin sauce and extra cinnamon powder and it’s a real treat. I do recommend only two pumps of pumpkin sauce though, because it is potent and gives me straight acid reflux if I ingest too much!
Aerie Tie Dye Sweatsuit
Okay, so did you purchase a tie dye sweatsuit this year or are you normal? I found this matching sweat set in Aerie and I purchased it immediately without even looking at the price because I tend to be irresponsible like that. What can I say, we’re working on it. Anyway, I paired this set with my UGGs à la Britney Spears moments before she shaved her head and I’ve also paired it with my chunky Nike sneakers as if I were Hayden Panettiere in Bring It On: All or Nothing, confronting Winnie at the cheer comp. I’m obsessed.
Real Housewives of New Jersey
During the month of September, I restarted the Real Housewives of New Jersey on Hulu and it has been quite the experience. I was way too young to fully appreciate the OG’s of Jersey when it first aired, because I was in like 8th grade. Now, I bow down in the presence of greatness. Caroline Manzo has a huge piece of my heart and I love love love her and her family, even if they are only 1/16th Italian.
Gradient Nails
If you’re thinking that I’m talking about ombre nails, then please exit stage left because you don’t know me. Yuck. I’m referring to the trend where one paints each of their nails a different color. While I have yet to muster up the courage to ask for this design preference at the nail salon, I have done it myself and I love it! Have you tried this ~trend~ yet?
Those are five of my favorite things from the month of September! I hope you babes enjoyed this post and I wish you all a very spooooky October.
xoxo,
Kelly
