When Taylor Swift released her album RED, I was 17 years old and a Senior in high school. I loved that album and listened to it repeatedly on my CD player in my bedroom. Now, I’m 26 years old and I am counting down the hours until I can listen to Taylor’s Version of the album this Friday, November 12, 2021.

If you’re reading this and thinking, “Kelly, you don’t like Taylor Swift. You said she was a snake.”

I have already discussed that our one sided feud was over, but in case you missed it, I shall rehash it one last time. I am a fickle creature. I change my mind all the time and honestly, that’s not really even my fault. My birth chart is dominated by the element of air and my Mercury is in Gemini, don’t blame me, blame the universe. Anyway, Taylor and I have been on good solid ground for a couple of years now and she was my top artist on Spotify in 2020. Just a little factoid that is interesting and proves that there is no bad blood between us.

Today, in preparation for the rerelease I wanted to share my top five favorite songs from RED. Narrowing the list down to five was really difficult for me, because this album is just bops on bops.
