Today is National Cookie Day and to celebrate such a wonderful day, I wanted to share a simple foolproof recipe that all the jingle ladies will enjoy!

First, you’ll preheat the oven to 350°F and then you’ll prep the cookies. I love Betty Crocker cookie mix, so I combine sugar cookie mix in a large bowl, with one stick of softened butter and one egg. To make these cookies extra merry, add in green, red and white sprinkles.

I read that the trick to making your homemade treats appear more professional is to add extra candy or sprinkles to the top of the cookies before baking.
