Strawberry Shake Sugar Cookies

Hey Babes!

There is nothing I enjoy more than finding new flavors of M&M’s and taste testing them. While out last weekend, I discovered a Strawberry Shake white chocolate flavored M&M and I knew I had to try them. The candies are thicker than a traditional M&M and they have a very artificial strawberry scent. The taste is sweet, but not in a sickly way. Honestly, they kinda slap! I couldn’t devour the whole bag in one sitting, but they’re good.

So, because I love seasonal M&M’s and because I received a hand mixer for Christmas, I decided to bake something that’ll bring all the boys to the yard!

Strawberry Shake Sugar Cookies

First you’ll preheat the oven to 350° and combine sugar cookie mix, one egg and a stick of butter in a large mixing bowl. Once the dough has formed, scoop the cookies out and then bake for about 12-14 minutes.

Once the cookies are out of the oven, immediately place the candies on the treats and allow them to cool.

I wasn’t sure if the cookies would be too sweet, so I actually made some plain sugar cookies too, incase they were gross, but my mom and I both really liked them. The flavor of the melty white chocolate, mixed with a hint of the light strawberry flavor and then the crisp crunch of the sugar cookie, really just hit the spot. I would totally recommend this recipe.
