Looks Like A Cinnamon Roll - Recipe & Review
Hey Babes!
A couple of weeks ago while I was at Trader Joe’s I saw this box mix for Cinnamon Roll Blondies and I thought they sounded so fucking good. Who doesn’t love a glazed cinnamon roll?
Ingredients
1 Box Mix
1 stick of melted butter
3 tbsp of softened butter
2 Large Eggs
1 tsp of Water
First, you’ll preheat the oven to 325°F and gather your ingredients. I love a box mix because it takes out all of the guess work and it’s still homemade.
Before you create your main mixture, combine the cinnamon sugar packet provided with your softened butter to create the filling. Don’t be afraid to really mash it together.
Then, combine your melted butter, 2 eggs and blondie mix in a large bowl until a batter forms. Once the batter forms, pour it into a greased pan.
After your blondie mix is in the pan, add in the cinnamon filling. Now, this is an essential step because the cinnamon sugared butter blend is what really provides that cinnamon roll like texture.
Bake the blondies for about 28-32 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Allow the treat to cool completely before adding your glaze.
Trader Joe’s is also kind enough to provide the powdered sugar needed for the glaze. When the blondies have cooled down, combine water with the powdered sugar to create the glaze and then drizzle it all over the cinnamon roll blondies!
These treats are a solid 9.8/10.
